The Indiana Junior Academy of Science (IJAS) meeting and competition is held on the IU Bloomington campus each fall. Sponsored by the Indiana Academy of Science, IJAS is designed to encourage high school students to pursue an interest in science study and careers. Indiana high school teachers register their school to participate in the program and accompany their students to the competition. Individual students may participate if their school is NOT registered, however the fees are the same and student must be accompanied by an adult parent or mentor.
